A Finger Run App for OBI for the Olympic Summer Games in London.

The nicest part of the job is the knick-knack projects, which are simply supposed to be fun. Like this app from OBI on the occasion of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. In sprints, hurdles or relay races you could compete with your facebook friends and win prizes from the OBI range. I was responsible for idea and concept.

A microsite for the Mount Kenya project of Tchibo.

In 2010, Tchibo commissioned a study of the needs of women in Kenya who are mainly concerned with planting and harvesting the coffee beans that eventually end up in German coffee cups. What they lacked most were water, livestock, building materials and education. In the so-called Tchibo Mount Kenya project, work was carried out on the infrastructure to improve the local living conditions. My responsibility was the final production of the site content and the go-live. Till Heumann was in charge of the entire conception and all the preparatory work.

An interactive brewery visit with Krombacher.

About 7 out of 10 projects run out of air somewhere between idea and go-live – often the budget chokes their breath away. During this interactive visit to the Krombacher brewery I found it a particular pity. The content concept was ready. UX and UI as well. We had already examined the possibilities for a shoot on location and were highly motivated to create a virtual world of experience around the pearl of nature.
